HEIONTEC Advances to the Finals of the 2026 Lübeck Business Startup Award

HEIONTEC has made it to the finals once again! Out of a total of 56 entries, HEIONTEC is among the six finalists for the 2026 Lübeck Business Startup Award in the Innovation category and for the People’s Choice Award. The winners will be announced on September 30 at the grand gala at the Media Docks in Lübeck.

The Startup Award is sponsored by the Lübecker Nachrichten, the Lübeck Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK), the Lübeck Merchants’ Association, the Lübeck Technology Center (TZL), Volksbank Lübeck, and Sparkasse Lübeck. The Innovation Award comes with a cash prize of 5,000 euros. In addition, the winner receives a media package from the Lübecker Nachrichten valued at 2,000 euros.

Katharina von Heydebreck, Dr. Frank Schneider, and Andreas Heine will represent HEIONTEC at the event. As part of the competition, a video produced by the Lübecker Nachrichten will introduce the team, the technology, and HEIONTEC. Many thanks to the jury and the sponsors for their trust and for giving us the opportunity to present HEIONTEC in the finals!

And there’s another nice connection: The competition’s patron is Schleswig-Holstein’s Minister of Economic Affairs, Claus Ruhe Madsen. Just at the beginning of September, we had the honor of receiving the “Überflieger 2026” award from him. Maybe he’ll bring us luck this time, too.

Now it’s time to keep our fingers crossed for September 30 – for the Innovation Award and, of course, for the Audience Choice Award!
