Energy is the foundation of modern societies – and has long become a geopolitical power factor. Crises, conflicts, and market disruptions have revealed how vulnerable global energy systems are: supply gaps, rising prices, increasing import dependencies, and immense pressure to decarbonize.

Between 2021 and 2024, energy prices in Europe rose by around 80% (Eurostat, 2025), while Europe still imports more than half of its total energy demand (Eurostat, 2024). This leaves Europe facing a dual challenge: to become climate-neutral – and remain sovereign.

True energy security today means more than stable supply. It means resilience, decentralization, and technological sovereignty.

Our contribution

HEIONTEC follows this logic. We develop solutions that enable energy autonomy at the smallest possible scale – directly where energy is needed. Our proprietary TEC-G cells generate electricity from ambient heat – battery-free, decentralized, and sustainable.
