Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences confirms the function of HEIONTEC TEC-G cells

Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences (HSD), under the direction of Prof. Dr. Jens Bockstette, has investigated the electrical properties of our cells in a series of independent measurements. The results are clear: HEIONTEC cells behave in accordance with the characteristics of thermo-electro-chemical generator cells (TEC-G).

This is the first scientifically independent validation of our technological approach. The measurement data confirm the underlying model that HEIONTEC has been pursuing since the start of the project: electricity from ambient heat – without temperature gradients, without batteries, without external energy sources.

Why this validation is important

The confirmation from HSD is more than just technical proof – it strengthens several strategic areas at once:

  • Patents & property rights: The measurement results provide independent data points that underpin the patented functionality of TEC-G technology.
  • Technological advancement: Precise, reproducible measurement results are essential for material optimization and scaling. The validation creates a robust basis for this.
  • Transition from laboratory to application: With independent confirmation of the functionality, the transfer of the technology into prototypes, modules, and later series products is moving closer.

A confirmation step – no surprise

For HEIONTEC, the results are not a new discovery, but rather an independent technical confirmation of what we have been modeling experimentally and theoretically since the beginning. The decisive factor is that external, scientifically documented measurement data is now available that supports our understanding of cell physics and secures the next development steps.

Collaboration with the University of Applied Sciences Düsseldorf

We would like to express our special thanks to the team at Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences. The collaboration was characterized by a high degree of technical precision, comprehensible documentation, and transparency in the measurement process – essential for any independent validation.

With this milestone, we have cleared another key hurdle on the road to industrial maturity. Further investigations and long-term tests are already underway – the path from the laboratory cell to series production is now being accelerated in a structured manner.
